Luxury Hotel in Copenhagen

In an off-market transaction, we acquired for our own account a luxury hotel in Copenhagen. Following the acquisition, we executed a light Capex plan and repositioning in cooperation with Marriott International Inc. The hotel re-opened in mid 2021 as the Socialist, a Tribute Portfolio hotel.


U.K. student housing portfolio

 

Through an exclusive relationship with the largest shareholder of a large student housing owner in the U.K., we sourced and structured a new joint venture with new leading U.S. institutional investors to facilitate the recapitalization of the new group with a new £125 million investment.


Class-A office building in Greater London

 

In partnership with an overseas institutional investment manager, we have recently acquired a large, class-A office property in the greater London market. Working with our network of agents, we successfully navigated a competitive bid process in order to secure this highly attractive asset, benefiting from long leases to credit tenants.


Multifamily portfolio in Western Germany

 

Ogilvy Capital is working with an established residential operator in Western Germany on the acquisition of a majority stake in its portfolio of 6,000 units together with a limited partner. This opportunity arose from the exit of the operator's joint venture partner. The current value of the portfolio is €500 million.


Non-performing loan secured by mixed-use property in Athens

 

In partnership with a local owner-developer, we secured control over an office and logistics asset in Athens through the purchase of the NPL from a leading U.S. PERE fund manager. By agreeing to a the structured deal with both the lender and borrower, the acquisition of the property was completed for a price at a substantial discount to the outstanding loan amount as well as market value.


Mixed-Use Campus leased to the U.S. Government in Italy

 

Through a longstanding exclusive relationship with the owner and developer of a large mixed-use facility located in Caserta near Naples, Italy, our executives both advised the ownership on negotiating a pay-off of the existing debt, while simultaneously arranging the recapitalization of €400 million of capital, which would stabilized the financial position of the asset and protect the owner's equity for the future.


Prime office portfolio in Paris

 

Our executives oversaw on behalf of an owner-developer, the recapitalization of a prime Paris office property that allowed it to buy out its LP partner as well as capitalize an aggressive Capex program for the repositioning of key assets in the Golden Triangle in Paris. €350 million was raised in total.


Four Seasons Hotel in Milan, Italy

 

Our executives were able to deliver a time-sensitive capital solution to allow the ownership to negotiate a discounted pay-off of the existing property debt (at a discount to the principal outstanding) and stabilized the capital structure for the asset with a new €170 million off-market loan from a European hedge fund.
